Resort Features: ResortQuest Sun Valley vacation homes is proud to present the 173 Hyndman View Home. This is a classic log lodge that has been impeccably detailed. Located just 12 minutes from town in the quiet East Fork of the Bigwood River canyon, a quintessential alpine environment with views of evergreen forest, the snowcapped Pioneer Mountains, and a tree lined mountain trout stream at the edge of the sprawling lawns, fenced and gated for safety for children, dogs, horse pastures. Extraordinary recreation is just up the road in the Sawtooth National Forest: horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, hunting, and fishing in public lands that have very little pressure of use.

Lodging Features: The massive round logs that form the structure are rarely available anymore, and provide magnificent scale to the home. Inside the main level and finished basement floors are made of indigenous Idaho Quartzite slabs that perfectly complement the river rock fireplaces. The gourmet kitchen with sitting area and large dining area are at the south east end of the house allowing glorious morning sunlight to bath the room. The laundry room and a powder room are located adjacent to the the kitchen. The Great Room is spectacular with ample seating, a wood burning fireplace and wonderful fanciful local furnishings. There is a formal dining table facing the river views for quiet meals.

Also on the main floor are the two Guest Bedrooms. Guest Room One provides a twin size sleigh bed and a hall bath with shower enclosure. Guest Bedroom Two offers a beautiful Queen bed and a spacious en suite bath. Throughout the house, huge south facing picture windows frame the views of Mindbender Ridge with the lawns and creek views in the foreground. The home is situated on over 3 acres. The homes interior design has been fashioned in the tradition of Old Hickory furniture for a rustic mood.

On the second level is the master suite where modern amenities abound including a river rock fireplace, creek side balcony, steam shower, cast iron soaking tub, dry sauna and an enormous master closet. All the rooms in the upper levels of the house have high volume ceilings adding to the lodge character. There is a nice sitting room off of the master suite for reading or just taking a nap.
The finished basement includes a full apartment suite with separate bedroom, living room, bathroom, and a kitchenette. Video, Cd's and board games are provided for entertainment. Two car garage. All linens and towels are provided as well as soap, shampoo and lotion.

Because the East Fork Canyon runs on an East/West axis it has spectacular sunsets.
