In the Beach House, you are surrounded by amazing views of Lake Superior. We have 125 feet of Lake Superior sandy beach frontage for you to enjoy while you stay at the Beach House. We are located just 5 miles from Marquette, where you will find shopping, restaurants, Northern Michigan University & Marquette General Hospital. It is a beautiful town in all four seasons, with plenty of outdoor things to do at any time of year.

The Marquette Beach House is a quiet, relaxing retreat from everyday life. Three generations of our family have lived in and enjoyed this home. From the Beach House, you will be amazed by the incredible views. To the east, you will enjoy beautiful sunrises, and to the west, spectacular sunsets. After dark, the Marquette skyline is awe-inspiring, both inside the house and outside, on the beach.

The living room is a comfortable, rustic room with birch paneling. Sitting in one of the chairs with a cup of coffee and looking out through the picture windows at Lake Superior is a relaxing way to start the day. The kitchen has a gas range, a dishwasher and microwave, and is fully furnished with dishes, pots & pans, flatware, dishrags & dishtowels. The eating area has seating for eight, and there is a folding booster/high chair available for little ones.

You'll enjoy our special bedrooms:

The Lilac Room (Sleeps 2) has light lavendar walls, lace curtains, queen-size bed and lilac decorations. We are sure you will find this room to be a relaxing get-away during your time at the lake. This room has a closet and two dressers, and is located upstairs in the Beach House. With the windows open at night, you can hear the sound of the waves lapping against the shore... and occasionally, the call of a loon.

Pooh Corner (Sleeps 2) is a fun, bright room located next to the Lilac Room, upstairs in the Beach House. It contains two twin beds, a built-in dresser and has a Winnie the Pooh wallpaper border & decorations, with ladybug accents. Little ones, as well as the young at heart, enjoy this room's cheerful environment.

Pleasant Meadows (Sleeps 2). Many a young girl dreams of a room like this one! The Pleasant Meadows room features a hand-painted mural of a field with a life size mare & foal. A double bed and an antique dresser with mirror complete the room, which also has a closet. This room is located downstairs in the finished basement.

Sailor's Cove (Sleeps 2) will make any sailor feel at home, with its sailboat decor and direct access onto the beach via its own door to the beach path. There is a queen bed in this room, as well as a closet with plenty of shelves and hanging space. This room is spacious and, being located in the finished basement, is cooler during the warmer summer days.

We love children, and we want yours to be safe and happy here at the Beach House!

We have outlet plugs in the outlets, and we have baby gates, a portable playpen, high chair and a potty chair available, as well as beach toys. Please let us know what your needs are, and we will take care of them. We want this stay at the Marquette Beach House to be relaxing for everyone in your family, and that means making sure your kids are safe & have their needs met while they are here!

The Beach House accommodates up to eight people, and we also have a portable playpen.

This is a family-oriented vacation rental, so while we love for you to have family reunions & gatherings, we prefer that there not be excessive drinking at the Beach House. Thanks!

Cancellation policy: if cancelled 30 days or less before arrival date, security deposit is non-refundable (but we will refund it if able to rent your reserved time).

Summer weeks are with a Friday check-in & check-out.(During the rest of the year, we can be more flexible.)

Shorter-length rates (Sept-June):
$135/night with 3 night minimum or $300 for two nights

Return guest special:
$50/week discount!! (only on weekly rentals)

We accept PayPal and personal checks (with enough time to clear).
