Murni's Houses are built in a traditional Balinese walled compound. Step through the gate and you enter a world of tranquillity that's just a three-minute walk to Ubud's main street.

A New York Times travel writer called them one of the world's ten best small hotels. Since then, they've just gotten better. They were created by Murni, the owner of Murni's Warung, the famous restaurant, which is 5 minutes' walk away.

The House is our largest accommodation and is a separate building featuring a traditional thatched roof. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 garden bathrooms, a living room and veranda. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed; the second bedroom has 2 single beds plus a trundle bed. The living room couch is also a single bed. US$115 per night.

The Bungalow is a separate building and very private and you can hear the river below. The Bungalow has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and sofa, a living room with a couch that converts to a single bed, a garden bathroom, and a lovely veranda. US$85 per night.

The Suite has one bedroom with a queen size bed, a living room in which the couch is also a single bed, bathroom, private veranda and private entrance. US$70 per night.

The Room has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, bathroom, private veranda and private entrance. US$60 per night.

Special Offer

The Room and The Suite can interconnect by opening a double set of doors to create the equivalent of the House (with an extra veranda and an extra entrance). When booked together, we charge the same price as The House - a savings of US$15. US$115 per night.

Prices are subject to government tax (currently 10%) and 5% service charge.
